TED Talks

For the past few years, I have been listening to free lectures on TED.  For those of you who do not know who TED is, let alone what he is talking about, you can get the key background information on Wikipedia.  I’ve saved you the trouble of googling TED by providing you with an embedded link in my first sentence.  I love this about technology.  I also love using google as a verb.

Back to TED.  TED is not actually a guy. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design and is an interesting blend of these three elements.  The TED slogan is “ideas worth spreading”.  This is almost an understatement as some of the brightest, most innovative people in the world can be heard on the TED lectures.

This is one of the places I go frequently for my learning.  Here are provocative videos I’ve watched (or watched again) in the past month.  Please feel free to drop a link to your favorite TED talk, or to a lecture you’ve found online that was similarly inspirational.
